Canvas needed:
20" x 20" on stretcher bars
or:
18" x 20" on stretcher bars
18 count-white or ivory
The finished design will measure 12" x 13 3/4"
20" x 20" canvas, mark canvas on bottom right corner, in 4.5" from side and up 5.5" from the bottom. This will be your beginning spot. Mark at "X" at that intersection.

Either canvas is fine, the size will NOT effect the finished product.
The above 2 are the first two squares of The Sampler Quilt. Each square will measure 32 threads by 32 threads. The maroon line under and on the right is the OUTSIDE border.
